Delivering eye care in Sri Lanka

Clinical work
My clinical work involved assessing and managing ocular disease, including acute ophthalmic presentations, and supporting the delivery of eye care in a resource-limited setting.
Reflections
The experience highlighted the importance of clinical adaptability, effective teamwork, patient education and delivering appropriate care where access to specialist services and follow-up can be limited.
